Anthony Oshoirenoya Aliyu is a distinguished legal practitioner, Notary Public, social impact leader, and advocate for youth inclusion and national development. He is the Lead Counsel and Founder of Aequitas Legal Practitioners, where he provides strategic legal advisory services and representation across diverse areas of law. As a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, he is committed to the advancement of justice, ethical practice, and the promotion of equitable solutions to legal and societal challenges.
Driven by a deep commitment to humanitarian service, Anthony is the Convener of the Hope for All Foundation, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and underserved members of society. Through the Foundation, he champions interventions aimed at supporting indigent students, widows, and economically disadvantaged persons through educational assistance, business support, empowerment schemes, and other poverty alleviation programmes designed to foster sustainable livelihoods and social inclusion.
Anthony is also the Co-founder and a Leader of the Concerned Students and Youth for Political Advancement and National Development (COSYPAND), a movement established while studying at Ambrose Alli University. The organization was founded to promote positive leadership, political advancement, national development, and greater youth participation in governance. Through COSYPAND, he continues to advocate for policies and initiatives that encourage active civic engagement and empower young people to become agents of transformation.
A native of Ugbenor-Uzairue in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, Anthony has remained actively involved in community and sociopolitical development. He currently serves as the General Secretary and Publicity Secretary of the O.K Is O.K For Rivers Movement, a platform committed to fostering unity, inclusiveness, and the collective interests of non-indigenes resident in Rivers State.
Anthony’s professional and public service engagements are guided by a strong belief in justice, compassion, responsible leadership, and the transformative power of collective action. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to empowering people, strengthening institutions, and contributing meaningfully to national development.
