Who We Are

O.K Is O.K For Rivers Movement is a grassroots-driven platform created to unite all residents of Rivers State — including non-indigenes — in building a stronger, more inclusive, and prosperous future.

Our mission is to ensure every resident has access to opportunities, representation, and a voice in the development agenda of Rivers State through structured membership and community participation.

Through strategic mobilization across all 23 Local Government Areas, hundreds of Wards, and thousands of Polling Units, we are building a statewide network of engaged citizens committed to progress for all.

Hon. Kingsley O.K Chinda — Rivers State Governorship Candidate

Hon. Kingsley O.K Chinda

A devoted husband and father, prominent Nigerian lawyer and lawmaker, and founding force behind the Public Interest Lawyers League (PILLS). Popularly known as O.K Chinda, his leadership journey began as the first Ikwerre student to serve as President of the Students’ Union at Rivers State University of Science and Technology (now Rivers State University).

From Legal Adviser of the Grassroots Democratic Party and PDP, to Rivers State Commissioner for Environment, and multiple terms in the House of Representatives representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency — he has consistently championed legislative excellence, constituency development, and the interests of the people.

He is currently the Rivers State Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), continuing his advocacy for Obio/Akpor and all Nigerians with unwavering dedication.

Any resident of Rivers State aged 18 and above — indigene or non-indigene — who shares our vision of inclusive, sustainable development can register. There are no ethnic restrictions.

A Permanent Voter's Card is recommended but not mandatory for initial registration. Voter information helps connect you with your Ward and Polling Unit group.

Yes — membership registration is completely free. The movement does not charge any fees to join.

Once verified by your LGA coordinator, you can apply for scholarships, grants, training programs, and jobs. Your coordinator will also notify you of relevant programs.

Yes. Active members can apply to serve as Ward or LGA Coordinators based on dedication, community standing, and organizational needs. Contact your coordinator or visit the Leadership page.
